bought this old 1950..350 ajs back in 1971-2 for a £1.. which i had to borrow of my mum.. pushed it home hugging the headlamp as it had no handlebars , got it going and messed around with it then decided to make a chopper out of it after seeing the film easy rider.. i still remember the pain in my shoulder carrying the front part of the frame to school on my push bike so i could reshape it in metalwork class, which has given it the steering rake.. ..i first built it up as a 350 chopper, and rebuilt the engine, and i done it in a nice candy red with a tank design, but no pictures of that, as a half destroyed aerial square four 1000 came my way. in 73-74,.. i stripped it back down and built it up as in the pictures...done most of it in my bedroom,, the fancy snake skin affect around the frame was done with spraying through net curtain material then lacquer over, ended up swapping it for a Mk4 zodiac with wolfrace wheels...in 75-76... my first chopper bike shown at the bottom and the funny thing is it has an anglia wheel in the back ..
